Here's the Breakdown:
- Petrol (93 Unleaded): Up by 1c/litre
- Petrol (95 Unleaded): Up by 8c/litre
- Diesel (0.05% Sulphur): Down by 10c/litre
- Diesel (0.005% Sulphur): Down by 8c/litre
- Illuminating Paraffin: Down by 11c/litre
These adjustments take effect from midnight. The changes are attributed to fluctuations in international fuel prices and the Rand's strengthening against the US dollar, moving from R17.73/$ to R17.49/$.
Important Note:
The petrol price increase includes a 6.1 c/l adjustment to accommodate wage increases for forecourt employees, as agreed upon on August 23rd. This translates to a price structure increase from 299.5c/l to 305.6c/l.
