Jonas Vingegaard (Den/Visma-Lease a Bike) followed +4 minutes 24 seconds behind, and Florian Lipowitz (Ger/Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe) finished third +11 minutes 9 seconds behind.

In Stage 20, Kaden Groves, an Australian sprinter, surprised everyone with a solo victory. Groves broke away and secured the first solo win of his career.
