Metta Dominates Mārupe SC
Metta secured a comfortable 4-1 away win against second-tier side Mārupe SC. Sadiks Saleh opened the scoring in the 20th minute, giving Metta an early lead. Mārupe's chances were further hampered when Kristers Lūsiņš received a red card in the 37th minute.
In the second half, Abdul Bangura doubled Metta's advantage in the 49th minute. Emīls Evelons added a third in the 64th minute, followed by Kristofers Rēķis making it 4-0 just four minutes later. Ņikita Žarovs scored a late consolation goal for the home side in the 88th minute.
Daugavpils Edges Out Leevon PPK in Six-Goal Thriller
Daugavpils also secured an away victory, defeating second-tier team Leevon PPK 4-2. Vallijs Fofanā put Daugavpils ahead early, scoring in the 3rd minute.
The second half saw a flurry of goals. Faisals Konatē missed a penalty for Daugavpils, and Renē Baumanis equalized for Leevon PPK. However, Daugavpils responded with two quick goals to take a 3-1 lead. Bubu Djallo pulled one back for Leevon PPK, but Konatē quickly restored Daugavpils' two-goal advantage. Gabriels Kirkils reduced the deficit again for Leevon PPK, but Djallo scored in injury time to seal the win for Daugavpils.
