Lille Star on the Move? Lausanne in Talks for Dago!

Exciting transfer news is brewing in the football world! FC Lausanne Sport has officially entered negotiations to acquire LOSC Lille striker Trévis Dago (20), according to reports from L’Equipe. While an initial offer exceeding €500k was turned down by Lille, discussions are ongoing, hinting at a potential deal.

Dago: A Rising Star?

Dago's talent has also caught the attention of Portuguese clubs Alverca and AVS Futebol SAD, adding competition to Lausanne's pursuit. The young striker began his career at the AJ Auxerre academy before joining Lille in July 2023. He made his senior debut for Lille in February 2024 and has since made four first-team appearances.

Loan Spell Success

During the 2024–25 season, Dago gained valuable experience on loan at Ligue 2 club FC Annecy. He played in 27 matches and scored six goals, contributing significantly to the team's near miss in the play-off race.

Lille's Striker Search Continues

Meanwhile, Lille's hunt for a new number nine continues despite the arrival of veteran Olivier Giroud (38) from Los Angeles FC. Giroud is expected to provide experience and depth, but Lille still needs a long-term replacement for Jonathan David. They were eyeing Rangers striker Hamza Igamane (22), but negotiations have stalled due to disagreement on the transfer fee.

Lille also considered Matthis Abline (22), but FC Nantes' asking price of €30 million proved too high. Abline is also a target for Sunderland AFC, making him a sought-after player in the transfer market. The coming weeks could see more clubs vying for Dago's signature, so stay tuned for further updates!
