Demi Moore Forgets Working With Billy Bob Thornton Before 'Landman'

Hollywood is full of surprises! It seems even A-listers can have memory lapses when it comes to past collaborations. Billy Bob Thornton recently revealed that his 'Landman' co-star, Demi Moore, didn't initially remember working with him on the 1993 film 'Indecent Proposal'.

The revelation came during a FYC (For Your Consideration) event for the Paramount+ series 'Landman', created by Taylor Sheridan. The show delves into the cutthroat world of the Texas oil industry, inspired by the 'Boomtown' podcast. Thornton plays billionaire Tommy Norris, battling other tycoons for oil riches, while Moore portrays Cami Miller.

According to reports, when moderator Stacey Wilson Hunt from The Hollywood Reporter asked Moore about meeting Thornton, the actress admitted she had to be reminded by her co-star. Thornton humorously stated, "She didn't remember me."

A Blast from the Past: 'Indecent Proposal'

While Moore and Thornton shared the screen in 'Indecent Proposal', Thornton's role was relatively small. He also worked with Moore's ex-husband, Bruce Willis, on several films, including 'Armageddon' and 'The Astronaut Farmer'. Thornton even joked that Moore often visited the sets with her children during those collaborations, yet she still didn't recall their earlier encounter.

'Landman': A New Chapter

'Landman' premiered on Paramount+ in November 2024 and quickly became a hit. The series boasts a star-studded cast, including Jon Hamm, Andy Garcia, Jacob Lofland, and Ali Larter. It's quickly establishing itself as a prominent part of Taylor Sheridan's storytelling empire.

This anecdote highlights the often-surreal nature of Hollywood, where actors navigate complex relationships and sometimes, even forget shared experiences. It adds a touch of humour to the buzz surrounding 'Landman' and the reunion of these talented actors.
