Iranian Missile Barrage Hits Northern Israel: Casualties Reported

Northern Israel was struck by an Iranian missile barrage on Saturday night, resulting in casualties and damage. According to Magen David Adom (MDA), three people were killed and at least 14 were wounded in the attack.

A 20-year-old woman tragically died when a ballistic missile directly hit her home in northern Israel. Firefighters responding to the scene rescued four individuals from a four-story building in the North, but sadly, two of them were pronounced dead at the site.

MDA paramedics also reported treating at least 14 wounded individuals at a two-story house in the Western Galilee. The injuries varied in severity, and seven people with light injuries were evacuated to nearby hospitals for further treatment. Rambam Hospital has received 13 wounded individuals, with one currently in critical condition.

Israel Fire and Rescue teams successfully rescued three people trapped under the rubble of a building that sustained a direct hit. In Haifa, police officers reported that shrapnel from the missiles caused localized fires on a road and another building. Thankfully, the fires were quickly brought under control, and no casualties were reported in those incidents.

MDA also confirmed that paramedics treated four individuals for anxiety attacks resulting from the barrage.

This attack follows another wave of Iranian missile strikes on Friday, which wounded over 200 Israelis and killed three across central Israel. The situation remains tense, and authorities are continuing to assess the full extent of the damage and casualties. This is a developing story.
