Recent reports alleged the presence of drugs and foreign liquor at the private party. Now, Mangli herself has broken her silence, offering her side of the story and addressing the allegations head-on.

Mangli Clarifies: No Drugs Found at Birthday Celebration

According to Mangli, the birthday celebration was a private affair held at a farmhouse at the request of her parents. Attendees included relatives, friends, family friends, and her team members. In a video statement, Mangli acknowledged the presence of alcohol but expressed regret for not obtaining the necessary permissions for its consumption.

“I am genuinely not aware of the fact that we must acquire permission for liquor. I did not do that. Had someone guided me, I would have done it,” Mangli explained. She also clarified, “However, there is no foreign liquor at the party and all that was available is the local liquor only. The police also confirmed the same and stated that there are no drugs.”

Property Manager Tests Positive: Mangli Denies Connection

Reports indicated that the property manager of the farmhouse tested positive for drugs. Mangli addressed this, stating, “He had consumed it somewhere else and some time back which the police also confirmed. We do not have any connection with it.”

It's understood that the police raid occurred due to the lack of prior permission for the event. Speculation on social media fuelled negative reporting against the singer. Mangli hopes to clear up any misconceptions and provide clarity surrounding the 'Birthday Bash' incident.

The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of adhering to local regulations, even for private celebrations. South African fans of Mangli will be keen to see how this situation unfolds.
