What's New for 2026?
Following the challenges faced in the 2025 race, Stillwater Sports has stepped in as the new organizer. Known for their expertise in events like XTERRA triathlons and the FNB Wine2Whales, they're bringing a fresh perspective to ensure a smoother, more enjoyable experience for all runners.
Chris Goldschmidt, Chairman of the Board of the Two Oceans Marathon NPC, is confident that this partnership will elevate the event to new heights. "We are confident that with Stillwater Sports’ proven expertise…the 2026 edition will set new benchmarks for excellence and inclusivity."
Important Dates to Remember:
- Blue Number Club Runners: Entries are open now! (September 15th)
- Ultra Marathon (56km): Ballot opens September 17th, closes September 24th, draw on September 25th.
- Half Marathon (21.1km): Ballot opens September 18th, closes September 25th, draw on September 26th.
How to Enter:
Both the Ultra Marathon and Half Marathon entries will be managed through a ballot system. Make sure you register during the designated entry periods to secure your chance to participate in "the world's most beautiful marathon."
