Big news for bargain hunters in the Chicago suburbs! Home goods retailer At Home is closing six more locations, including one in Lake in the Hills, Illinois. This comes after the company filed for bankruptcy in June, announcing the closure of 26 other stores.

Where and When
The At Home store located at 101 Randall Road in Lake in the Hills is among the locations slated to close. Other stores closing are in Bloomington, Indiana; Ypsilanti, Michigan; Council Bluffs, Iowa; Ocean Township, New Jersey; and West Bountiful, Utah. All stores will maintain their normal operating hours until they close their doors for good.

However, act fast! According to a spokesperson for Hilco Consumer – Retail, which is managing the closing sales, the best selection will disappear quickly. Gift cards and loyalty rewards will be accepted through August 14th, but all sales are final on purchases made after August 1st, 2025.
At Home, which had over 260 stores in 40 states, attributed its bankruptcy to factors like the pandemic, supply chain issues, and tariffs.
