Rosie O'Donnell & Nicolle Wallace: Is Trump Fit to Lead?

Rosie O'Donnell and MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace have both publicly questioned Donald Trump's fitness for office, suggesting he should be "in place to help people who are in dementia" rather than running the country. Their comments highlight ongoing concerns about Trump's cognitive abilities and leadership.

O'Donnell and Wallace's Concerns

O'Donnell, appearing on Wallace's podcast "The Best People," likened Trump, 79, to an elderly relative who "you wouldn't let use the electric knife at Thanksgiving." Wallace added, "or walk your dog." O'Donnell stated that watching Trump's UN speech reminded her of watching Joe Biden at a debate, saying, "the man was not cognitively present in the way he used to be. The same is true for Donald Trump."

The remarks are the latest in a long-standing feud between Trump and O'Donnell, which spans decades. Trump has also recently targeted Wallace, criticizing her reporting and calling her a "loser" with "bad ratings" on his Truth Social platform.

O'Donnell's Move to Ireland

Following Trump's reelection, O'Donnell moved to Ireland in January 2025. Despite living abroad, she has remained a vocal critic of Trump, urging Americans to "stand up, to use their voice, to protest, to demand that we follow the constitution in our country, and not a king and not a man and we don't have cruelty as part of our governing style."

A Therapist's Perspective

O'Donnell shared that even her therapist struggles to understand the depth of her concern about Trump. O'Donnell responded to her therapist's question of 'Why are you so upset?' with 'Why are you not?'

This ongoing exchange underscores the intensity of emotions surrounding Trump and his political influence, both within the United States and among those who have chosen to live elsewhere.
