The new season of Dancing with the Stars is almost here! Season 34 premieres soon, but before the celebrities hit the dance floor, former DWTS contestant Jodie Sweetin had some surprising advice for newbie Danielle Fishel. Sweetin, known for her role on Full House, competed on season 22 of the show, giving her valuable insight into the challenges ahead.
Sweetin's Unexpected Costume Warning
Fishel, who is also hosting a podcast called 'Danielle With The Stars' to discuss her DWTS journey, got a dose of reality from Sweetin. The big reveal? Don't dance in your full costume until the day of the show! Sweetin explained that the weight and construction of the costumes can drastically alter your performance. A seemingly light dress can suddenly feel like it weighs a ton, especially when covered in beads.
"When we did our samba I was used to turning with zero weight on me, I put a beaded dress on that weighed probably 12 pounds and all of the beading is in the hips," she said.
