Fiji Tribute Concert: Sold Out Show & Safety Tips You NEED To Know!

Honolulu is buzzing with excitement as the Fiji tribute concert is set to be an unforgettable night of music and celebration. With an anticipated crowd of 20,000 to 30,000 people descending upon the Tom Moffat Waikiki Shell, organizers are prioritizing security and safety measures to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Sold-Out Show & Overflow Viewing

Tickets for the highly anticipated event sold out almost instantly, demonstrating the immense love and respect for the celebrated artist, Fiji. Promoter Tautua Reed described the concert as a tribute to "a man who meant so much to us… a fallen hero in the industry," highlighting the significant influence Fiji had on hundreds of artists.

Due to the Waikiki Shell's capacity of approximately 8,500, an overflow section with a live feed will be available at Kapi'olani Park for ticket holders. The remaining park area will be open to the public.

Important Safety Guidelines

The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) and private security will be present throughout the event to maintain a safe environment. Dita Holifield, the city’s director of Enterprise Services, emphasized the following rules:

  • Ticket required for entry; no re-entry allowed.
  • No alcohol permitted outside the Waikiki Shell.

The following items are strictly prohibited:

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Smoking & vaping
  • Consuming alcohol within the park
  • Unauthorized drones
  • Unauthorized commercial activity
