Urgent: Salad Kit Recall! Hidden Allergens Could Be Dangerous!

Nationwide Salad Kit Recall: Are You At Risk?

A popular salad kit sold across the United States, including New York, has been recalled due to undeclared allergens. This recall poses a significant risk to individuals with sesame and soy allergies.

Taylor Fresh Foods is recalling its Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kit 6/8.3-ounce following a recall initiated by Latitude 36 Foods. The FDA notice indicates that the salad kits may contain undeclared sesame and soy allergens, which could trigger severe or life-threatening allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.

What's the Problem?

The issue stems from individual dressing packets within the salad kits. Instead of the intended Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing, some kits mistakenly included Asian Sesame Ginger dressing. This substitution introduces undeclared sesame and soy allergens into the product.

Where Were These Salad Kits Sold?

The affected salad kits were distributed nationwide. Look for products with code dates starting with “TFRS” and expiration dates up to and including Sept. 4, 2025.

What Should You Do?

  • Check Your Fridge: Immediately inspect any Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kits you may have purchased.
  • Do Not Consume: If the code dates match the recalled products, do not eat the salad.
  • Discard the Kit: Dispose of the salad kit immediately.
  • Seek a Refund: Return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.

No Illnesses Reported (Yet)

According to the recall notice, Taylor Farms has not received any reports of illnesses connected to the recalled kits. However, it's crucial to take precautions to avoid potential allergic reactions.
