Oh chale! According to Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, the trade tensions between the US and China be like say dem dey play 'who go vex first.' After serious negotiations wey happen for London, Lutnick talk say Trump give dem permission to chill small on top the aggressive way dem dey approach China, just so dem fit reach agreement.
He tell CNBC say after 25 hours of back-and-forth with Chinese officials, e be like the world's two big economies dey cool down small. Apparently, both countries bin dey accuse each other of breaking rules from the agreement wey dem make for Geneva last month. So, everybody just start put restrictions on top export goods.
Lutnick explain say: “The Chinese dem bin dey slow-roll with some rare-earth magnets. So, when dem no deliver, we too put our own counter measures in place. E be like mutual-assured annoyance wey dey go on.”
Trump Fit Annoy China Back Wey Dey Bee!
He talk say the talks bin dey respectful, no shouting or insults. Both countries believe say the outcome good for everybody. But he add say if China try pull any card like the rare-earth magnets matter, America go show dem say dem no fit just do anyhow to America.
He give example say the Trump administration fit just subpoena Chinese banks make dem open their records and show all the wrong things wey dem do. Also, the White House put restrictions on top ethane exports to China.
