Walton Goggins: 'Fallout' Star's Power Armor Panic Attack!

Ghana, listen up! Your favorite Ghoul, Walton Goggins from the hit series 'Fallout', has revealed a surprising fear: power armor! While many actors rave about the feeling of invincibility it provides, Goggins experienced a panic attack after just 30 minutes inside the iconic suit.

Goggins Prefers Ghoul Makeup to Power Armor

Goggins, who plays both Cooper Howard and the Ghoul in the Prime Video series, admitted he'd rather endure hours of prosthetic makeup to become the noseless, skin-sloughed Ghoul than spend another moment in the power armor. He described the experience as "the most claustrophobic thing I've ever done in my life."

Why the Panic?

"I'm not lying to you when I say I had it on for about 30 minutes and then I had a panic attack," Goggins explained. "I had to get it off. It’s like, ‘I got to get out of this, please. I got to move my arms, please.’ It’s really a thing. Maybe it’s just a thing for me, but I found it so constricting and so difficult that it was not an enjoyable experience at all."

Co-Stars' Different Experiences

Interestingly, not all of Goggins' co-stars share his aversion to the power armor. Some have described feeling powerful and even enjoying the experience, despite the weight and discomfort. Aaron Moten, who plays Maximus, acknowledged the suit's heaviness but also recognized the "sense of status" it conveys.

  • Walton Goggins: Panic attack, claustrophobic.
  • Aaron Moten: Heavy, but provides a sense of status.

Season 2 of 'Fallout' is set to premiere on December 17th, promising more post-apocalyptic action and, thankfully for Goggins, less time in power armor!
