Donkor, Director of Advantage Solutions Limited, the company wey dem claim Adu-Boahene use am for move the money for buy properties for Accra, Kumasi, and London, face charges of conspiracy to launder money and money laundering.
But today for court, Deputy Attorney-General, Dr. Justice Srem-Sai, drop all charges against Donkor through notice of withdrawal, according to section 59 of Criminal Procedure Code 1930 (Act 30). This law give Attorney-General power to withdraw case against accused person.
Now, Attorney-General file witness statement of Mildred Donkor, wey she go testify for prosecution to support the case against Adu-Boahene and ein wife, Angela Adjei Boateng.
Before dem discharge Donkor, Adu-Boahene ein lawyer, Samuel Atta Akyea, challenge the way Deputy A-G withdraw the charges.
