Brewers' Unbelievable Comeback! Collins' Walk-Off Seals the Deal!

Brewers Complete Stunning Comeback Against Mets!

The Milwaukee Brewers continue their incredible run, completing another comeback victory against the New York Mets. This time, a five-run deficit couldn't stop them as they rallied to win 7-6, capped off by a dramatic walk-off home run from Isaac Collins in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Collins, who's quickly becoming a rookie sensation, perfectly embodies the Brewers' never-say-die attitude. Facing Mets closer Edwin Díaz, Collins connected with a two-strike slider, sending it just over the outstretched glove of Juan Soto in right field for the game-winning homer. The crowd at American Family Field erupted as the Brewers secured their ninth consecutive win.

BOX SCORE: Brewers 7, Mets 6

The Brewers' resilience was on full display throughout the game. After Quinn Priester struggled, allowing six runs, the offense came alive. William Contreras blasted two home runs, and Joey Ortiz delivered two crucial two-out RBI hits, fueling the comeback. DL Hall and Nick Mears provided solid relief pitching, holding the Mets scoreless for 4 2/3 innings.

Collins' game-winning hit wasn't just a lucky swing. After falling behind in the count, he stayed patient, took a fastball off the plate, and capitalized on a hanging slider. He managed to stay back just enough to send the ball soaring 363 feet and into the field-level patio area beyond the wall.

The Brewers' victory extends their winning streak to nine games and improves their MLB-best record to 73-44. Collins, once a relatively unknown minor league Rule 5 pick, is now a legitimate contender for National League Rookie of the Year.

The team's manager, Pat Murphy, affectionately calls them the 'Woodpeckers.' But the rest of baseball may soon be calling them inevitable, because the Brewers have been an unstoppable force as of late.
