Popular Streamer Duke Dennis Arrested in San Antonio Mall
Popular streamer Duke Dennis, a member of the AMP content group alongside Kai Cenat, was arrested in San Antonio over the weekend. The incident occurred at the Shops at Rivercenter after authorities accused Dennis of trespassing.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, Dennis, 31, was playing a game of hide-and-seek with another individual inside the mall after it had closed for the night. Security guards reportedly warned Dennis and others to leave multiple times, but they refused. Police were called to the scene and instructed Dennis to leave, but he allegedly refused both verbally and physically.
Authorities claim that Dennis attempted to flee when officers tried to arrest him. He was eventually apprehended and charged with criminal trespassing and evading arrest. Jail records indicate he was released after posting a $1,000 cash bond per charge.
Kai Cenat Films the Arrest
Fellow AMP member and popular streamer Kai Cenat was present during the arrest. Videos circulating on social media show Dennis handcuffed on the floor of the mall while Cenat filmed the incident from an upper level. Cenat has not yet released an official statement regarding the arrest.
Another individual was also arrested for allegedly interfering with Dennis' arrest. This person faces multiple charges, including assault on an officer and resisting arrest.
