Vice President JD Vance has revealed a surprising obsession: UFOs. During a recent appearance on the "Ruthless" podcast, Vance admitted he's "obsessed" with mysterious UFO videos and plans to delve deeper into the subject during the upcoming congressional recess.
"I'm obsessed with the whole UFO thing. What’s actually going on? What were those videos all about? What’s actually happening?" Vance questioned, expressing his eagerness to get to the bottom of the unexplained phenomena. He joked about using the August recess to "dive to the bottom of the whole UFO thing from last year."
While Vance didn't specify which videos have captured his attention, the past year has been rife with reports and videos related to unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs). The House Oversight Committee even held a hearing last November to investigate the Pentagon's UAP investigations, featuring testimony from experts and witnesses.
One notable testimony came from Luis Elizondo, a former Pentagon official who headed the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP). Elizondo claimed the U.S. government possesses evidence that "we are not alone in the cosmos," but that a "cabal" of officials is concealing this information.
The conversation on the podcast took a lighthearted turn when one of the hosts, Michael Duncan, confessed to visiting Roswell and taking UFO tours. Vance playfully offered to take the hosts to Area 51 "once I get to the bottom of it."
Whether Vance's investigation will uncover any groundbreaking revelations remains to be seen. However, his public interest in UFOs highlights the growing mainstream acceptance of the topic and the increasing demand for transparency regarding government investigations into UAPs.
