Stephen Curry's 'GOAT' Trailer Drops! All-Star Cast & Release Date!

Get ready for some animated sports action! Sony Pictures Animation has released a teaser trailer for 'GOAT,' an upcoming CG-animated family film produced by NBA superstar Stephen Curry. The film is slated to hit theaters on February 13, 2026, perfectly timed for NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.

What is 'GOAT' About?

'GOAT' is an original action-comedy set in a world populated entirely by animals. The story centers on Will, a small goat with enormous dreams. He gets the opportunity of a lifetime to join the pros and play roarball – a high-intensity, co-ed, full-contact sport dominated by the fastest and fiercest animals around. Will's journey to revolutionize the sport and prove that "smalls can ball!" promises to be both hilarious and heartwarming.

A Star-Studded Voice Cast

The voice cast for 'GOAT' is packed with talent. Caleb McLaughlin (Stranger Things) voices Will the goat, while Gabrielle Union (Being Mary Jane) portrays Jett the black leopard. Stephen Curry himself lends his voice to Lenny the giraffe. The ensemble also includes Nicola Coughlan (Bridgerton), Nick Kroll (Big Mouth), David Harbour (Stranger Things), Jenifer Lewis (Spellbound), Aaron Pierre (Mufasa: The Lion King), Patton Oswalt (The Sandman), Andrew Santino (Royal Crackers), Bobby Lee (MADtv), Eduardo Franco (Gabby’s Dollhouse), Sherry Cola (Good Trouble), hip hop/country artist Jelly Roll and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls). Ayesha Curry also joins the cast.

Behind the Scenes

Directed by Emmy-nominated Tyree Dillihay (Bob's Burgers) and co-directed by Adam Rosette, 'GOAT' is being produced by Michelle Raimo Kouyate, Stephen Curry, Erick Peyton, Adam Rosenberg, and Rodney Rothman. With the animation expertise of Sony Pictures Animation (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse) behind it, 'GOAT' is shaping up to be a must-see film for families and sports fans alike.
