Lando Norris Stuns at Spa-Francorchamps!

Lando Norris delivered a stunning performance at Spa-Francorchamps, securing pole position for the Belgian Grand Prix. In a thrilling qualifying session, Norris edged out his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri to claim the top spot. This marks Norris's fourth pole position of the season, putting him on par with rivals Max Verstappen and Piastri.

The British driver clocked in a time of 1'40''562, a mere 85 milliseconds ahead of Piastri, who made a slight error on his final attempt. Charles Leclerc secured third place, just over three-tenths of a second behind Norris. Verstappen, who won the sprint race earlier in the day, finished fourth, a mere three-thousandths of a second behind Leclerc.

Unexpected Twists and Turns

The qualifying session was filled with surprises. Alex Albon impressed by placing his Williams on the third row, alongside George Russell's Mercedes. Yuki Tsunoda also had a strong showing, reaching Q3 for the first time since Miami.

While three French drivers reached SQ3 on Friday, Isack Hadjar was the only one to make it to Q3 in qualifying. He finished eighth, between Tsunoda and Liam Lawson. Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly were eliminated in Q2, settling for eleventh and thirteenth positions, respectively.
