Get ready for more scares! Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is upping the ante with new animatronics and some familiar faces from the Scream franchise. The sequel to the 2023 hit is bringing the frights, and Comic-Con attendees got a sneak peek at what's in store.

Freddy Carter Joins the Night Shift

Freddy Carter, known for his role in Masters of the Air, has been confirmed to join the cast. In a clip shown at San Diego Comic-Con, Carter's character, an eerie security guard, gives a tour to young teens of the spooky animatronic characters in the pizza place. Fans speculate he may be playing Jeremy Fitzgerald, the former security guard from the second game.

Skeet Ulrich Screams His Way Into FNAF 2!

In a surprise announcement, Matthew Lillard revealed that his Scream co-star, Skeet Ulrich, is joining the cast. Ulrich, who played Billy Loomis in the original Scream, couldn't reveal much about his character but hinted at a deep emotional tie to the story. "I will say I play somebody with a very particular and specific past, and somebody who has a deep emotional tie to what's going on. Other than that, I'm not really allowed to say," Ulrich explained.

Lillard, who played William Afton in the first film, is also returning for the sequel. Get ready for more villainous antics!

More Animatronics, More Terror!

Director Emma Tammi teased that Five Nights at Freddy's 2 will feature “more than three times as many animatronics” as the first film. Fan-favorites like Mangle and the Marionette are expected to make an appearance. Tammi praised the collaboration with the Jim Henson Company for bringing the animatronics to life practically, emphasizing the importance of capturing the nostalgia that Freddy's invokes.

Returning cast members include Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail, and Piper Rubio. Newcomers include Wayne Knight, Mckenna Grace, and Teo Briones. Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is shaping up to be a terrifying sequel that fans won't want to miss!
