UNC Alumni Light Up the PLL Scoreboards
Last weekend's action in Connecticut saw five UNC men's lacrosse alumni taking the field. Connor Maher contributed an assist and two ground balls for the Archers, while Jack Rowlett made his presence felt on defense with a caused turnover and two ground balls for the Chaos.
Justin Anderson found the back of the net for the Denver Outlaws, helping them secure their fifth consecutive victory. Marcus Holman of the Boston Cannons had a standout performance, scoring a two-point goal, a one-point goal, and dishing out an assist, along with collecting four ground balls. Zac Tucci dominated the faceoff X, winning nine faceoffs and scooping up six ground balls.
Holman Closing in on Rabil's All-Time Goal Record
Marcus Holman's recent scoring spree has put him within striking distance of a legendary milestone. With his latest goal, Holman has officially tied Paul Rabil for the second-most goals of all time! This achievement highlights Holman's consistent excellence and his impact on the sport.
Earlier in July, during the Chicago games, Holman continued his impressive run, scoring both a one-point and a two-point goal for the Cannons. Zac Tucci once again proved his prowess at the faceoff X, winning 13 faceoffs. Jack Rowlett also contributed a caused turnover for the Carolina Chaos.
