Fox Host: Are We a Nation of Immigrants or Settlers? You Won't Believe Her Answer!

Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy ignited a debate during a recent appearance on The Will Cain Show, questioning the fundamental identity of the United States. Her comments have sparked widespread discussion about immigration, assimilation, and the nation's founding principles.

A Nation of Settlers, Not Immigrants?

Campos-Duffy challenged the common narrative of America as a "nation of immigrants," arguing instead that the country was "forged and created by settlers." She elaborated, stating that these settlers "came and formed a new identity. They created a new culture. They had customs that were very unique to who we are."

The Failure of Assimilation

The Fox News host further questioned why the traditional process of immigrant assimilation has seemingly broken down. "Why did that whole process, which my mom was part of, and was a beautiful process of becoming a citizen of the United States, why did that fall apart?" she asked.

Left's Agenda and Immigration

Campos-Duffy attributed the perceived failure of assimilation to the left's alleged animosity towards America's founding story and documents. She claimed that "the left hates America. They hate our founding story, they hate our founding fathers, they hate everything about our founding documents. They hate it. And what the illegal immigrant represents for them is a chance for them to remake America in a different image." She further asserted that illegal immigration is being "weaponized" to achieve a Marxist-inspired utopian vision.

Protecting Hispanic Children

Campos-Duffy also praised Donald Trump, Kristi Noem, I.C.E. officers, and Border Patrol agents as "the greatest defenders of Hispanic children who are being exploited" through sexual trafficking and child labor. She argued they are not receiving sufficient recognition for their efforts and that Hispanic Americans generally understand this dynamic. She even suggested that leaders in Mexico and other Latin American countries should be thanking Donald Trump.
