Kelly Ripa Reveals Husband's 'Disgusting' Bedroom Habit: Morning Sex?!

Kelly Ripa, co-host of Live with Kelly and Mark, recently shared some candid details about her marriage to Mark Consuelos, specifically regarding their differing preferences for intimacy. In a recent appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast with Amanda Hirsch, Ripa didn't hold back when discussing Consuelos's preference for morning sex, which she jokingly described as "disgusting."

Morning vs. Evening: A Battle of the Sexes?

Ripa initiated the conversation by asking Hirsch whether she was an "evening person or a morning person" when it came to intimacy. Hirsch quickly replied, "Definitely evening. Do not breathe on me in the morning." Ripa then quipped that men, in general, seem to be morning people, a sentiment she clearly doesn't share.

"I find it disgusting," Ripa confessed, adding that Consuelos "only" wants to be intimate in the morning. "He'll never learn. He's a guy," she joked.

Compromise is Key (Even After 29 Years)

Ripa admitted that she's had to have conversations with Consuelos about finding a better balance in their sex life. She told him, "There needs to be a yin and a yang here. It can't always be your way. 'Cause it feels like 90 percent of the time it's your way. And now that we work together every day, it's gonna have to sometimes be my way, and my way's at night only."

The Morning Breath Factor

Adding another layer to her aversion to morning intimacy, Ripa also mentioned Consuelos's desire to kiss her first thing in the morning, which she finds unappealing. "I have a retainer in. I gotta rip that out," she explained. "And he's got his nasal strips on. It's like we are the most repulsive, disgusting [people]."

Despite the humorous complaints, Ripa emphasized that she and Consuelos still prioritize intimacy in their marriage. She compared it to exercise, saying, "The more you do it, the more you do it. You just have to do it, and then you’re like, ‘Oh! I remember why I like this.’"
