Madam Secretary Stars Tie the Knot! Téa Leoni & Tim Daly's Secret Wedding!

Surprise! After years of on-screen chemistry and a real-life romance that blossomed on the set of CBS's "Madam Secretary," Téa Leoni and Tim Daly have officially tied the knot. The actress's representative confirmed to PEOPLE magazine that the couple exchanged vows in a small, intimate family ceremony in New York City on Saturday, July 12th.

From Co-Stars to Soulmates

Leoni, 59, and Daly, 69, first met in 2014 while filming "Madam Secretary," where they portrayed the husband-and-wife team of Elizabeth and Henry McCord. The political drama captivated audiences for six seasons, airing from September 2014 to December 2019. It seems their on-screen connection translated into something much deeper off-screen.

A Quiet Romance

The couple's relationship was initially kept under wraps. PEOPLE confirmed they were dating in December 2014, after Leoni was spotted supporting Daly at his performance of "Red" at the Dorset Theatre in Vermont during the Fourth of July weekend. Leoni's divorce from her husband of 17 years, actor David Duchovny, was finalized in August 2014.

Red Carpet Debut and Beyond

Leoni and Daly made their red carpet debut as a couple at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C., in April 2015. They were joined by veteran journalist Bob Schieffer and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright at the event.

While details about the wedding are scarce, the intimate nature of the ceremony suggests a desire for privacy and a focus on family. Congratulations to the happy couple! We wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
