Alpert brings a wealth of experience in revenue generation and resource management to the Yellow Jackets. During his four years at Tennessee, he played a key role in developing and implementing revenue-generating plans, overseeing capital projects, apparel deals, and business and finance operations. He also managed the Neyland Entertainment District, showcasing his diverse skillset.
Alpert's Background: A Rising Star in College Athletics
Before his tenure at Tennessee, Alpert served as the deputy athletics director for external operations at Missouri. He also spent time at Florida Atlantic University as deputy AD under Brian White, further demonstrating his experience in various athletic department roles.
A University of South Carolina graduate, Alpert started his career with internships at Miami and South Carolina before earning his master's degree at Memphis. He steadily climbed the ranks at Memphis, eventually becoming an assistant athletics director and working on a capital campaign that raised $32.5 million.
