Olympic gold medalist and figure skating legend Brian Boitano recently joined the St. Louis community in celebrating Olympic & Paralympic Day, highlighting the city's rich Olympic legacy and inspiring future generations of athletes.

St. Louis holds a special place in Olympic history as the first American city to host the Summer Games in 1904. The annual Olympic & Paralympic Day celebration at Francis Olympic Field, the oldest Olympic stadium still in active use, pays tribute to this heritage and promotes the Olympic values of excellence, friendship, and respect.

This year's event featured appearances from world-renowned athletes, including six-time Olympic medalist Jackie Joyner-Kersee and Brian Boitano.
