Dylan Dreyer's Kids Create Heartwarming Father's Day Gift

TODAY show's Dylan Dreyer shared a heartwarming Father's Day gift crafted by her children for her husband, Brian Fichera. The creative and thoughtful present brought a touch of Fenway Park magic into their living room.

A Living Room Ballgame Experience

Instead of a trip to the stadium, Dreyer's children, Calvin (8), Ollie (5), and Rusty (3), created homemade tickets to a New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox game. The family then enjoyed the game together from the comfort of their home.

Dreyer posted a photo of the adorable handmade tickets on Instagram, captioning it: “Took the kids to the @redsox game…in the living room. But we needed tickets. Happy Father’s Day Bri!!” The picture included a selfie of the family enjoying their unique Father's Day celebration.

The Details of the Faux Tickets

The crayon-drawn tickets were surprisingly detailed, featuring the date, team logos, section and seat numbers, and even a barcode. One ticket proudly declared the location as Boston’s Fenway Park, adding to the authenticity of the experience.

  • Handmade with love by Calvin, Ollie, and Rusty.
  • Featured details like date, team logos, and seat numbers.
  • Brought the Fenway Park experience home.

Dylan Dreyer's Love for the Red Sox

Dreyer is a well-known Red Sox fan. Last month, she and Calvin threw out the ceremonial first pitch at a game during the team’s first-ever Celiac Awareness Night. Calvin was diagnosed with celiac disease around the age of six.

The family's connection to the Red Sox extends beyond fandom. Dreyer shared that the experience of throwing the first pitch and meeting the team mascot, Wally the Green Monster, made it the "best day of my life" for Calvin.

In a touching Instagram post, Dylan wrote, “Calvin said ‘today was the best day of my life.’ I couldn’t agree more buddy!! Hard to top today! Thank you to the @redsox for making this the most special day ever!!!”
