  • Eggs with sell-by dates up to June 19 were distributed through May 6.

What to Do If You Have Recalled Eggs

The CDC advises consumers to discard any recalled eggs immediately or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. August Egg Company has also established a hotline (1-800-710-2554) for consumers with questions, available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT.

The FDA is currently working with August Egg Company to determine the full extent of the distribution and will update the advisory as more information becomes available. Consumers should stay informed and monitor the FDA's website for the latest updates.
