Jane Lynch, known for her iconic role as Sue Sylvester in 'Glee,' recently had a mini-'Glee' reunion on 'Celebrity Weakest Link.' Lynch, who hosts the show, was thrilled to see some familiar faces from McKinley High back in action.
'Glee' Reunion on 'Celebrity Weakest Link'
Lynch revealed that she even had to get a new tracksuit made for the occasion, as she had donated her original one to an auction. The reunion episode, which aired on September 15th, featured Chord Overstreet, Becca Tobin, Heather Morris, Dot-Marie Jones, Jenna Ushkowitz, Amber Riley, Max Adler, and Alex Newell.
Lynch was particularly impressed with Overstreet and Morris, noting that their 'Glee' characters were portrayed as somewhat dim. She joked that she might have been protecting them on set. She also mentioned staying in touch with Morris, Tobin, Overstreet, and Jones, and considers Matt Morrison a good friend.
Beyond McKinley: Where Are They Now?
The 'Glee' cast has followed diverse paths since the show ended. Sadly, Cory Monteith passed away during production in 2013. Jonathan Groff, Lea Michele, and Darren Criss have achieved success on Broadway, while Morrison has appeared on 'So You Think You Can Dance.'
In addition to the 'Glee' reunion, Jane Lynch also hosted a special "Weakest Link: NFL Edition" on FOX NFL Kickoff, showcasing her versatility and comedic talent.
