The Kali Hotel, a $300 million project rising near SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, is on track to open in September 2026, just in time for Super Bowl 61 in February 2027. KPC Development Co. recently celebrated the topping out of the 12-story, 300-room hotel, a key component of Rams owner Stan Kroenke's Hollywood Park development.
The Kali Hotel and Rooftop, officially part of Marriott's Autograph Collection, aims to be a prime destination for visiting football and basketball teams, as well as fans attending events at SoFi Stadium. The hotel will feature 300 guest rooms, including 34 suites, alongside an all-day dining restaurant, a lobby bar, a pool, a yoga deck, a spa, and a fitness center. It will also offer nearly 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
Despite facing industry-wide challenges like rising tariffs and labor shortages, KPC Development proactively managed potential delays by paying tariffs on imported construction materials like windows and elevator parts before the tariffs were fully implemented.
Crescent Hotels & Resorts will manage the Kali Hotel, which is part of Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio. The project team includes Clayco as general contractor, Lamar Johnson Collaborative as architect, and Sixteenfifty Creative Intelligence and Gensler as interior designers.
Hollywood Park Expansion Continues
The Kali Hotel is the only hotel currently planned within Kroenke's Hollywood Park master plan. The area is also set to house an Olympics broadcast center and a movie studio, slated to be the international broadcast center for the 2028 Olympic Games, further cementing Inglewood's position as a major entertainment and sports hub.
