Visa Presale Details: The "Visa Presale Draw" kicked off on Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. ET and concludes on Sept. 19 at 11 a.m. ET. This exclusive window allows Visa cardholders worldwide to register for the chance to purchase World Cup tickets. Head over to FIFA.com/tickets to sign up!
How Does the Presale Draw Work? FIFA assures that the draw will be randomized, with eligibility verified through a no-value transaction. Successful applicants will be notified on Sept. 29.
Key Dates for Ticket Buyers:
- October 1 - October 21: Those selected will be given a specific date and time to purchase their World Cup tickets.
- Tickets will be issued based on seating category within the 16 World Cup venues across the three host countries. Specific seat assignments will come later.
What About After the Presale? Fear not! FIFA has announced that multiple additional ticket phases will be launched in the coming months, providing further opportunities to secure your place in the stands.
Heimo Schirgi, FIFA World Cup 26 chief operating officer, urges fans to “Get your tickets early, especially if you know where you’ll be because you live in that city or you’re a fan of the three hosting nations... Get your tickets early, because anything can happen.”
Match Schedule and Key Dates: While the overall match schedule is set, matchups excluding host nations will be determined after the FIFA World Cup draw on Dec. 5. The United States will play group stage matches in Los Angeles (June 12, 2026), Seattle (June 19, 2026), and Los Angeles again (June 25, 2026).
