Indie darling Mac DeMarco is gearing up for a massive world tour that will keep him on the road until May 2026! But before he embarks on his global adventure, he's treating fans to a surprise warm-up show at The Echo in Los Angeles. This intimate performance will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, August 27th, preceding his three sold-out shows at the iconic Greek Theatre this weekend.
A History of Giving Back
This isn't the first time DeMarco has shown love to his Los Angeles fanbase. He's known for popping up at smaller venues like The Echo, a nod to his roots in the indie music scene. In 2023, he announced a secret small club show at The Echo before his Ford Theatre performances, and in 2019, he played an intimate gig there before his Coachella appearances. This dedication to his fans is a major reason why he's so beloved.
Supporting Artists on Tour
Mac won't be alone on his world tour. Artists from Mac’s Record Label, including Mock Media, Tex Crick, Daryl Johns, and Vicky Farewell, will be providing support throughout the journey. Fans can look forward to discovering new music alongside DeMarco's familiar tunes.
'Guitar' - A Raw and Personal Album
DeMarco's new album, 'Guitar,' is out now! He wrote and recorded the entire album in November 2024 at his home in Los Angeles. Aside from mastering by David Ives, Mac handled every aspect of the record himself, from mixing in Canada to shooting the artwork using tripods. He describes 'Guitar' as "as close to a true representation of where I’m at in my life today as I can manage to put to paper."
World Tour Dates
The world tour spans continents, including North America, Europe, the UK, South America, and Asia. Get ready for a musical journey with Mac DeMarco! Don't miss the chance to see him live.
The Echo Show - Sold Out!
Unfortunately, tomorrow night's warm-up show at The Echo is already sold out. But don't despair! Keep an eye out for future surprise performances and grab your tickets for the Greek Theatre shows or catch him on his world tour.
