Washington Welcomes Its First In-N-Out Burger!
Burger lovers in Washington state are celebrating! The first In-N-Out Burger location officially opened its doors in Ridgefield, Washington, drawing massive crowds and sparking excitement throughout the region. Located just north of Portland, Oregon, at 5801 N. Pioneer Canyon Drive, the new restaurant has become an instant hotspot.
One dedicated fan from Milton, Washington, arrived a whopping 14 hours early to secure the coveted first spot in line. Kevin, as he was identified, told KING 5 that he arrived around 8:16 p.m. Tuesday night, camping out in his van with the help of friends. His dedication was rewarded with a free shirt and some delicious In-N-Out burgers.
"Accomplished, proud of myself and about to go smack the rest of this," Kevin told KGW as he left the restaurant, finally getting to enjoy his hard-earned meal.
What to Expect at the Ridgefield In-N-Out
The new Ridgefield location boasts a bustling drive-thru lane, indoor seating for 73 customers, and a covered patio for an additional 28. Clint Ford, a 26-year veteran of In-N-Out, will manage the restaurant, leading a team of approximately 80 employees with a starting wage of $18.75 per hour.
In-N-Out's Expansion Continues
The Ridgefield opening marks another step in In-N-Out's expansion across the West Coast. The chain, known for its Double-Double burgers, Animal Style fries, and creamy shakes, already has locations in California, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Texas, Colorado, and Idaho. While there are no current plans to expand to the East Coast, In-N-Out is planning to open a second Washington location in Vancouver.
