De Finance Minister, Mr. Cassiel Ato Forson, talk am for Facebook say COCOBOD go start de Cocoa Tertiary Scholarship Scheme for de 2025/26 cocoa season. Dem go develop de guidelines wey dey needed so dat de programme go fit take off proper from de 2026/27 academic year.
Dis initiative be part of government ein plan to support farming families and make sure say plenty people fit go higher education. Mr. Ato Forson talk say government dey serious to help cocoa farmers wey dey work hard.
Free Fertiliser Dey Come Back!
But e no be only scholarship o! De Finance Minister announce say dem dey bring back de free cocoa fertiliser programme too. Dis one go also start for de 2025/2026 crop year. So, cocoa farmers go get free fertiliser (both liquid and granular), free insecticides, free spraying machines, free fungicides, and even free flower inducers dis year!
Government dey beg cocoa farmers make dem use all dis things well to improve demma cocoa yield and make more money. E be important say dem no dey use am for any other thing but to take care of demma cocoa farms.
