This plea come after some disturbing things happen for Odorkor Methodist 1 polling station. Dem say some people beat Hawa Koomson, the former MP for Awutu Senya East and former Fisheries Minister. Dr. Boamah, wey go the polling station with the Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mubarak, talk say:
“This be civil thing; we no dey war. We no want see Ayawaso West Wuogon happen again. People suppose fit vote in peace.”
E promise say dem go investigate any violence wey happen and say the Ghana Police Service go dey there to keep order for all the 19 polling stations wey dey inside the re-run.

Voting for Odorkor Methodist 1 polling station stop small after the beating. Eye witness talk say some guys come with pickup truck, force dem way inside even though police dey there, and beat the former MP.

This Ablekuma North parliamentary re-run dey decide the 2024 parliamentary election results. Dem don count 261 polling stations already. Right now, the NPP candidate, Nana Akua Afriyie, dey lead with 32,512 votes, but e no be plenty pass the NDC candidate, Ewurabena Aubynn, wey get 32,464 votes. The seat dey hot!
