Di University Relations Office (URO) in collaboration with di Quality Assurance and Planning Office (QAPO) start dis initiative by giving official ID cards give two popular campus cats, Kwasi Joe den Kofi Sam. Dem dey stay around di Main Administration enclave.
According to di University, di project dey aim to make humane animal–campus relations strong, support environmental health, and celebrate KNUST ein special cultural identity. Dem officially call di cats “University Cats,” and dem get ID cards wey dey show demma names, assigned campus locations, and care zones.
